Gulf Coast Medical

Patient volume and hospital renovation created a surge space need for the Emergency Department (ED) at Gulf Coast Regional Medical.  Space on the campus was extremely limited, but a small hilly area in the middle of the ED’s circle drive was enough space for Serenus. We quickly designed an observation unit using our MetaSpace system to bridge the hospitals needs during their renovations.

Serenus erected a 1500 sqft Metaspace unit featuring eight patient bays, two bathrooms, and a nursing station. Our telescoping legs - one of the many unique features of the componentized system - worked perfectly on the hilly terrain. The unit fit snugly into the available campus space without interrupting traffic flow. The Gulf Coast Regional Medical temporary structure was fully operational only 8 months after the initial inquiry.
